#I’vegotthatpower

Empower

Today’s Wednesday Word is EMPOWER.

Running has given me power to do so much.

Running running half marathons, running two marathons back to back, 2200 miles in a year…things I thought I would (or could) never do.

I’m thankful that it has given me the ability to take control of my health, after being diagnosed with blood cancer.

I’m thankful that it has given me the power to conquer new goals.

I have the power to try new things, new races, new distances…

Best of all? I have the power to (hopefully) empower others.

I’m linking up with Deb for the Wednesday Word!

  1. How wonderful that running has helped you take control of your blood cancer! I can’t imagine running 2200 miles in one year. You are amazing and empowering!
